I am going to be the biggest in the world

Uncompromising luxury that makes the rest of the world pale with envy, fantastic buildings that will literally take your breath away and an incredibly clean coastline with white sand, space and comfort that crowded European beaches can only dream of. Visit a place, where super-modern architecture blends with Islamic surroundings and traditions – discover the United Arab Emirates. A federation of seven absolutist monarchies – Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Qaiwain, Ras al-Khaimah, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi. Each emirate is ruled by one wealthy family. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are currently among the richest emirates.

Abu Dhabi

...lies on the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and their capital. The city of about 1.5 million inhabitants is situated on an island and, like neighboring Dubai, has recently been developing massively into a progressive metropolis.

DubaI

...is the most famous of the emirates and its namesake center offers a wealth of sporting, cultural and social activities. Dubai also includes the Jumeirah area with its long sandy beach and several hotels that are among the most luxurious in the world. Unique experiences can also be had from camel racing or desert safaris.

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

...is a Middle Eastern country, located in southwest Asia and in the eastern Arabian Peninsula along the Persian Gulf coast. Most of the territory is a flat plain, which is largely covered by desert. The coast is fringed by islands (one of which is the capital Abu Dhabi). The climate is tropical and dry. Average rainfall is only about 100mm. Severe sandstorms are very common. Until the mid-19th century, the main source of livelihood here was piracy, and later pearling, fishing and the spice trade. The economy was transformed after oil and gas production began in 1962. Around 60% of exports are oil. It has made the UAE one of the richest countries in the world. The industry is highly developed. Cement and aluminum are produced here, and marble is also mined in addition to oil. Agriculture is, however, negligible. About 0.5% of the area is cultivated, either in oases or in areas with artificial irrigation. The main crop is the date palm and 80% of food and consumer goods must be imported. The country has good roads, major ports (Abu Dhabi or Dubai) and four international airports. Health and education (also universities) are of a very high standard and are completely free of charge.
