Exclusive wine and perfume tour

The French Riviera, also known as the Côte d'Azur, is one of the most famous holiday areas on the Mediterranean coast. It lies between the towns of Menton and Cassis, near the Italian border. It is bordered to the north by the Southern Alps with peaks exceeding 3000 meters above sea level.  The most important cities in this region, with nearly five million inhabitants, are Marseille, Nice, Toulon and Aix-en-Provece. The name Côte d'azur was first published in the 1888 book La Côte d'azur (The Côte d'Azur) by Stephen Liegeard, who was impressed by the color of the surrounding sea.

Nice, the port city of southern France, is rightfully called the jewel of the Côte d'Azur. The center offers a plethora of restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as a wide range of luxury shops of all kinds. In addition to the vast expanses of gardens, parks, and sunny beaches, the city also boasts many lakes and fountains. Its rugged coastline of mostly pebble beaches is dotted with several luxury hotels, residences and yacht marinas. Nice also has uniquely landscaped beaches. The historic part of the city beckons with its narrow winding streets, such as the Viveux Nice district. The cathedral of Ste. Réparate or Garibaldi Square. The English promenade, lined with tall palm trees, is pleasant for an evening stroll. The exclusive Cimez district is home to museums. For example, the Matisse, which is a permanent exhibition of his works. Ciminez is also the site of Queen Victoria's winter residence.

One of the symbols of France is undoubtedly perfume, which you can admire in the nearby town of Grasse with Fragonard, for there are several perfumeries. Those who like to admire greenery will find their own at the Jardin Albert or the daily flower market in Cours Saleya.

Nice lies 25km from the Principality of Monaco, which is certainly worth a visit. The old town of Monaco, the port district of Condamine, the Princely Palace, the Formula 1 racetrack or the famous Casino de Monte Carlo should not be missed during a visit.
