Salza River – The mentor river

Wildalpen is a municipality in Austria in the federal state of Styria. It lies in the valley through which the Salza river flows, south of the Hochschwab mountains, between the famous pilgrimage site of Mariazell and the winter resort of Hochkar. In Czechia, it is better known among the boating/paddling public for the excellent navigability of the river. Long rapids, jumps from the bridge and overhangs and the unforgettable experience that goes with them await you. The ideal place and opportunity for a company trip to Styria and active teambuilding in Austria.

The breathtaking scenery of the Alps is also worth mentioning. From the surrounding hills, not only are the views of this little valley magnificent, but in good weather you can also see the mountains of the various Alpine ranges.

Daylong rafting on the Salza River

The most beautiful part of the river starts at Wildalpen, with beautiful surroundings in the canyon and even more challenging water. Below the confluence with the Mendlingbach, the river also cuts into an attractive rocky gorge and the channel narrows further.
The group is going to be equipped with all the necessary equipment for rafting - wetsuits, neoprene boots, helmets, buoyancy vests and paddles. The raft is led by a state certified instructor who is fully committed to your safety.
Before the actual ride, the company group, as a teambuilding icebreaker, will receive an interactive safety briefing – especially cold-water swimming and rescuing swimmers from the water onto the raft.
